Event Description:
Wanna stand up to Big Oil? Come with Greenpeace to the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill around 11am to greet oil exec's attending a 12pm Public Hearing entitled: "Drilling for Answers: Oil Company Profits, Runaway Prices and the Pursuit of Alternatives." We will stand in the hallways and in the hearing room to show our discontent as they make their way to the hearing, where they plan to discuss the current state of oil and gas prices, oil company profits, and the need for clean, renewable fuels to ease demand for oil and cut global warming pollution. Planning Meeting Monday March 31st at 5pm, please email me if you are interesting in attending.
